Police: Wanted Man Arrested with Crystal Meth

Mount Laurel Police make several other arrests for drug possession.

May 23

Theft from vehicle (Laurelwood), 3:30-9 p.m. — More than $900 in cash and miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of Winston Road, police said.

May 25

Arrest (theft by deception), 10:51 a.m. — Police arrested Jeanine A. Bullock, 23, of the 1900 block of 47th Street, Pennsauken, at the Home Depot on Nixon Drive after she allegedly used receipts she found to try and return merchandise for cash, according to police. Bullock was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Theft from vehicle (Spring Valley Estates) — Cash, a cell phone and miscellaneous items—worth a combined total of more than $700—were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the unit block of Brookwood Road, police said. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. May 24 and 11 a.m. May 25.

Criminal mischief, 12-2:20 p.m. — A Camden resident told police someone punctured his tires, causing $300 in damage, while his vehicle was parked in the rear parking lot of Innova Health and Rehabilitation on Church Road.

Criminal mischief — Someone slashed the tires of a vehicle parked in a lot on Hovtec Boulevard sometime before 10 p.m., causing $450 damage, according to police.

May 26

Arrest (DWI), 12:49 a.m. — Police arrested Patrick J. Meenan, 20, of the 200 block of Conestoga Drive, Marlton, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Church Road. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 2:29 p.m. — Police arrested Merri A. Allen, 31, of the 700 block of Eayrestown Road, Lumberton, after she crashed her car on South Church Street, according to a report. She was taken to Virtua Hospital for a minor injury and released, after which she was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), police said. She was served with complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (drug possession), 7:01 p.m. — Police arrested Luiz A. Velez, 39, of the unit block of Dunham Loop, Winslow, for possession of crystal methamphetamine after he was stopped on Church Road for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Police discovered he was wanted on outstanding warrants and found crystal meth and paraphernalia inside his vehicle, the report stated. Velez was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and committed to Burlington County Jail after failing to post $20,000 bail.  

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 8:20 p.m. — Police arrested Bernadette Brown, 29, of the 2600 block of 8th Avenue, New York, NY, at a hotel on the 500 block of Fellowship Road after patrols responded to a disturbance, a report said. She was charged with possession of marijuana and released pending a municipal court hearing.

May 27

Arrest (DWI), 4:25 a.m. — Police arrested Constantine J. Kodersha, 22, of the unit block of Waverly Place, Monmouth Junction, after stopping him for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

May 28

Arrest (DWI), 1:23 a.m. — Police arrested James R. Stang Jr., 22, of the unit block of Sandal Lane, Willingboro, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Larchmont Boulevard. Stang was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.
