Letters for Rose is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2020 to counter loneliness among seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative, however, has evolved into a timeless mission to show caring through the creation and distribution of personalized letters and artwork. Letters for Rose is staffed by high school student volunteers, with 400 chapters across the world.

“Everyone at Laurel Brook was overwhelmed by this thoughtful outreach,” said Jessica Saracen, community relations director at Laurel Brook. “Our residents were so delighted to receive the letters and artwork. Letters for Rose’s thoughtful mission brightened the day for our residents, and they are grateful for the organization and the Lenape High School students.” Saracen added that Laurel Brook is looking forward to an ongoing relationship; the local chapter plans to return with more letters and artwork for residents just before Valentine's Day.
