BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in the Burlington County area, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.
The Double Tree Hilton in Mount Laurel will host a New Year’s Eve Throwdown Party from 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2021, until 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2022. Music will include the best dance music from the 1970s up to today’s hits. All tickets sold in advance. No tickets will be available at the door. Winterfest Ice Skating returns to Cooper River Park near the corner of Cuthbert Boulevard and Park Avenue in Cherry Hill from Nov. 26 through Feb. 21. Hours of Operation:

Watch fireworks over the Delaware River from the historic deck of the Battleship New Jersey during a New Year’s Eve party that begins at 4 p.m. Friday. Enjoy live music, food concessions, a cash bar for adults, and have the chance to fire a Gun Salute. Proceeds go to the ongoing restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial. All guests must sign a COVID-19 Waiver of Liability before boarding and maintain social distancing. Fully vaccinated guests and children under 3 are not required to wear face coverings. Anna and Elsa will visit The Pop Shop in Collingswood for Noon Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Bring the kiddos in and help count down to noon. They will have a sparkling cider toast and piñata drop at noon. The piñata will be filled with lots of candy and goodies for all.
Come decorate your own NYE party hat, take photos at their photo booth, make noise, blow bubbles and even drop your 2022 resolution in the resolution box. Kids’ tickets are $30 and includes:
- entertainment;
- a kid-friendly buffet of “lucky” foods;
- sparkling cider toast;
- goodies from the piñata drop;
- decorate your own party hat; and
- a bubble wand and noisemakers.

The Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood presents the Antonio Puri Inner Circle Solo Exhibit, Nov. 20 through Dec.31. An artist reception takes place Dec. 12 at the center, 30 Irvin Avenue in Collingswood. Puri was born in north India and educated in the U.S. He's based in the Philadelphia region and has exhibited in solo exhibitions all over the world.
