Three Arrested After Police Officer Comes Across Burglary
Maple Shade Police arrested three men for a pair of burglaries at a car dealership, including one who was found by a K-9 hiding in an office crawlspace.

Three men were arrested after a Maple Shade police officer came across a burglary at Mark’s Motors, a dealership that specializes in used police cars, last week.
According to a report, Maple Shade Police responded to Mark’s Motors, on Route 73 South, at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, July 1, to investigate a burglary that had occurred, in which copper pipes and five used car batteries were reported stolen.
Several hours later, around 2:30 a.m. the morning of Monday, July 2, a Maple Shade officer on patrol discovered a second burglary in progress at the used car dealership. Two suspects were quickly apprehended, and a third was found hiding in the crawlspace of the sales office with the assistance of a K-9 and taken into custody.
The following men were arrested and each charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass for both burglaries: Jared C. Baker, 22, Maple Shade; Jeremy L. Baker, 24, Mount Laurel; and Gregory L. Shaw, 31, Camden.
All three were remanded to Burlington County Jail.
