Township Of Moorestown: An Update: Court Lights Policy

March 16, 2022

November 15 - March 31:

• The basketball and tennis court lights at Jeff Young Park and Maple Dawson Park will be turned ON from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on days when outdoor temperatures reach at least 40 degrees at 5 p.m. 
• The lights will NOT be turned on if temperatures are forecast to be below 40 degrees at 5 p.m. if it is raining, or if the courts are covered with snow or ice.
• The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations. 

April 1 - November 14:

• The basketball and tennis court lights at the township parks will be turned ON from 30 minutes before sunset – 10 p.m. unless it is raining. 
• The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations.
