2 Tractor-Trailers Overturn On Same Ramp Within 24 Hours In Burlington Co.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Two tractor-trailers have overturned on the same New Jersey Turnpike on-ramp in Mount Laurel over the past 24 hours, officials told Patch on Tuesday.

The latest crash happened at 12:04 p.m. on the Turnpike's Interchange 4 ramp from Route 73 in Mount Laurel.

The driver of a Volvo tractor-trailer lost directional control, causing the vehicle to overturn, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

The interchange was partially closed but reopened later Tuesday afternoon.

In the first crash, a Freightliner tractor-trailer hit a guardrail on the ramp and overturned at 5:04 p.m. Monday.

No injuries were reported in either accident. Both crashes are under investigation.
