MOORESTOWN, NJ — Got any unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs? National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 22, and several law-enforcement agencies will set up collection sites for people who want to properly dispose of medicine.
The U.S. Department of Justice and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) coordinate Operation Take Back semi-annually. During Take Back Days, law enforcement at the state, county and local levels run prescription-drug dropoff locations throughout the nation.
The goal of Operation Take Back is to encourage the public to anonymously turn over unneeded prescription medicine for proper disposal. Here's where law enforcement will run collection sites around Moorestown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22:
