Arrest Made In Speedwell Ave Business Burglaries: Morris Twp PD
Police say the man broke into two restaurants and a gas station before his arrest.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man has been arrested in connection to several early-morning business robberies along Speedwell Avenue in Morris Township, Chief Mark DiCarlo said.
James Brady, 46, from Morris Township, was arrested on Tuesday evening in connection to three burglaries along Speedwell Avenue between Jan. 28 and Feb. 4, DiCarlo said. He was charged with burglary, attempted burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and possession of burglary tools.
Brady is accused of breaking into Sack’s Shell Gas Station on Jan. 28, and Centro Americanos Restaurant on Feb. 4 and stealing cash. He is also accused of breaking into Mario’s Pizza Restaurant on Feb. 4, DiCarlo said.

He was released with a pending court date.
"Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity at the time it is observed. Residents are also encouraged to take preventative measures to protect their homes from potential burglars. Some preventative tips include making your residence appear occupied, leaving lights on at night only, park a vehicle in your driveway and remove packages and mail from outside your home," DiCarlo said.
