Head to Mennen Arena for National Night Out Tuesday

Tonight is also the last in Morris Township's 2013 Summer Concert series

The 11th annual National Night Out will make its return to Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 6. Fire, police and rescue units will be on hand to "demonstrate a wide range of skills and equipment used in providing the multitude of emergency services available to the Morris County community," according to a news release on Morris County’s website.

At MPAC, the Didge Project is bringing the show “Music Beyond Borders” to Morristown. The Didge Project is a didgeridoo awareness organization based in New York City. This event runs from 12:30 – 2 p.m. on Tuesday

At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there’s Pre-School Craft Story Time at 10 a.m. Come listen to some stories and make a simple craft to take home. All supplies provided and the activity is sponsored by The Friends of the Library. It runs every Friday from July 9 – Aug. 16

Drop by the Morris County Library between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and complete a craft with your preschooler. Later, there’s a writer’s workshop at 7 p.m. for grades 4-6

Come out this Tuesday for the final concert in Morris Township’s 2013 Concert Season.

The Morris Township Parks and Recreation will host a free concert at the Ginty Field gazebo. Morris County’s eclectic “Party Band” Mid-Life Crisis will perform at 7 p.m. to wrap up concert season, said the township’s Department of Parks and Recreation; Mid-Life Crisis has a repertoire of classic rock and blues hits 

Provident Bank is the 2013 season Gold Sponsor and this is the eighth year that they’ve sponsored the concert series. Information on all Morris Township free summer concerts is available by calling the Parks and Recreation Department, weekdays from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm at 973-326-7371 or online at www.morristwp.com.
