Morris Schools: Incoming, Outgoing Staff
Here's a look at who's new and who's retiring or resigning in the district

As people leave, new faces come in. In the Morris School District, several are retiring or resigning, while others are joining the school community.
Here’s a look at who’s going and coming.

Incoming:
- Edward Cohen has been hired for Supervisor of Instruction at FMS
- Ann Marie Teitelbaum has been hired as MHS school nurse
- Meredith Carleton has been hired as a school psychologist from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to replace the open position of C. Hammerschmidt
- Stephanie Corona has been hired in the special education department at MHS from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to a position which has not been reappointed
- Paola Hall has been hired as an LDT-C from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to replace Cathy Yingling, who retired
- Antoinette Lubrano has been hired for Sussex Elementary fo from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to replace Diane Garafano, who retired as the media specialist
- Ana Pereira has been hired for $48,092 from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to the social studies department at FMS, a position which has not been reappointed
- Steven Rego has been hired as a social worker for from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to replace Randolph Sconiers who is retiring from his Thomas Jefferson position in the Morris School District Department of Pupil Services
- Bethany Telschow has been hired for the third grade at Thomas Jefferson for from Sept. 1, to June 30, 2014 to a position, which has not been reappointed
- 2012-13 Community School Site Leader Paul Opena was hired
- 2013-14 Summer Plus Instructional Staff Susan Noonan was hired and she will be paid out of collected tuitions
Changes

- Jill Magidson was transferred from the Director of Science Academy to Special Education at MHS
- Margaret Nilson was transferred from a secretary class III to the position of secretary at MHS to replace J. Harrington
- Frank Sedita, freshman co-advisor, was approved
- James Pisciotto, girls basketball head coach, was approved
Leaving:
- The board eliminated the position of Director of Medical Science Academy
- Custodian Josefina Williams resigned, effective May 6
- 2nd and 3rd Grade Intermediate Teacher Jennifer Weitz at Normandy Park is resigning on July 1
The following staff are retiring:
- On July 1, Richard Henderson, building foreperson at FMS
- On Sept. 1, Sharon Pallino, secretary
- On Sept. 1, Patricia Roehrer, kindergarten teacher at Alfred Vail.
Katharyn Flynn, language arts teacher at MHS, is taking a maternity leave from Sept. 9 – 17 with pay and benefits, Sept 18 - Dec. 10 without pay but with benefits and from Dec. 11 – Feb. 3, 2014 without pay nor benefits.
