- The vertical garden is used to cultivate seedlings, used to grow plans to seed to germination to seedling stage.;
- The worm composter is filled with fruit and vegetable scraps that are decomposed by worms to create fertile soil;
- The picnic table is for children too small to sit at regular sized tables when participating in garden activities.
He was assisted by family, friends, fellow scouts, and fellow members of the Morristown Marching Band, in which David plays baritone horn.
“This terrific young man has made a difference in our county community, dedicating his time to aid a nonprofit organization that helps families in need,’’ said Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo. “He is obviously a likely future leader of our county and state.’’
