The NJDOT announced an 8-mile road renovation project that will start in Morris Plains.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation announced on Thursday a resurfacing project that will run about eight miles of Route 10 eastbound from just west of Harrison Avenue in Morris Plains to just east of Eisenhower Parkway/Northfield Road Circle in Livingston.

The statement says that the roadway repairs will extend the lifespan of the highway and provide a safer ride for motorists. The drainage inlets will also be restored and new image-detection cameras will be installed at some intersections to replace the existing underground detectors.
