Teen Arrested In Morris Twp Car Theft: Police
The car was found after it crashed in Jersey City.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two Jersey City teens were arrested in connection with a car theft in Morris Township, police said.
The car, which was stolen from Lindsley Drive on Aug. 14, was found in Jersey City after being involved in a crash, police said. The two teens had fled the scene before police arrived, but evidence found inside the car led police to the pair.
Both teens, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, were charged with possession of a stolen car. They were taken into custody in Jersey City. Because they are underage, their identities are not being released.

"The Morris Township Police are still actively investigating the incident with hopes of bringing charges for the Theft of the vehicle in our municipality, as well as the thefts on Filmore Drive that same evening," police said. They believe all the thefts were committed by young men.
