Annual Talent Show Benefitting Morris Schools Changes Name, Look

Event scheduled for February 2016 accepting registrations for auditions.

New name, same great talent!

That’s what Morristown-area artists and audience members can prepare for in the 2016 Morristown talent show, formerly named Morristown’s Got Talent, now taking on the new name “ONSTAGE.”

The event, which benefits the Morris Educational Foundation, is scheduled for February 24 of 2016 at Mayo Performing Arts Center and will feature performers who either live, work, or go to school in Morristown or Morris Township.

Auditions will be held Dec. 12 at Morristown High School.

“In support of our schools each February, fans from all over New Jersey descend upon the Mayo Performing Arts Center to watch the show everyone talks about - our unique showcase of singing, dancing, and instrumental talent of amateur “acts” of all ages,” said Kim Pistner, chairperson of the Morris Educational Foundation.

The event has brought in some $70,000 each of the last two years to benefit programs in the Morris School District.
