When this area was whacked with , many feared it a taste of what was to be another doozy of a season. After two years of big storms, it wasn't a matter of "if" anymore, but "when."

And yet, "when" has not yet arrived, even while teeth chatter amidst sub-freezing temps.

Perhaps it's a little early to be declaring this winter a white washout. Forgive us for becoming spoiled after being snowbound in a house for four days last Christmas (and, no, not this "Last Christmas," though that's a pretty good version).
