Body Pulled From Passaic River In Morris County

The Montville Police Department responded to a report of a body seen in the Passaic River.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A body was pulled from the Pine Brook area of the Passaic River Sunday, according to the Montville Police Department.

According to authorities, Montville police received a report that a body was seen in Passaic River, near Route 46 and Bloomfield Avenue. When officers arrived they retrieved the body from the water, police said.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office said there are no further details at this time, but encourages the public to call their office at 973-285-6200, or the Montville Township Police Department at 973-257-430 with any information.
