Coronavirus Case At Morris District Elementary School

A preschool partner also reported a positive case over the weekend

MORRISTOWN, NJ—The Morris School District announced a positive Conronavirus case at Hillcrest Elementary School in a statement on Monday. The case comes after a positive test was reported at a preschool affiliate over the weekend.

"The individual in question has not been present in the school since last Wednesday, September 9, 2020," said the district's statement, "and contact tracing has determined that the source of transmission to this individual was unrelated to our school or the Morris School District."

The district said everyone determined to have contact with the person would quarantine for 14 days. The statement added that no one who had contact with the person has reported any symptoms.
