Crash With Injuries On I-287 Causing Delays In Morris County

Several northbound lanes remain closed, officials said. Use caution.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Several lanes remain closed on part of Interstate 287 because of a crash with injuries Wednesday morning in Morris County, officials said.

The crash occurred on the northbound side—south of Exit 39, NJ 10—near Hanover Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Officials reported the crash at 8:50 a.m. All lanes remain closed as of 9:28 a.m.

"All lanes closed south of Exit 39 – Rt 10 in Hanover due to crash and fuel spill," NJDOT officials said.

The nature of the crash or injuries wasn't immediately clear.

Expect delays of 10–20 minutes and use caution, NJDOT said.
