Dogs Abandoned In Zip-Tied Cage, Morris Co. Police Seek Public's Help
The Roxbury Township Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the owner of two female pit bulls.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Members of the Roxbury Township Police Department are asking the public for help after two dogs were found abandoned at a public park.
On Oct. 29, two dogs were found by residents at Port Morris Park, who contacted the police department and Roxbury Township Animal Control.
The two dogs were locked together in a metal cage that was secured and held together with zip ties and a ratchet strap, authorities said. The top of the cage was also covered by a red blanket.

The dogs were adult female pit bulls, weighing between 50 and 60 pounds, officials said.
Roxbury Animal Control and the Roxbury Township Police Department are asking anybody who may have spotted anyone or a vehicle that abandoned the two dogs to contact them.
