Behind the Morristown storefront are Susan Saa and her husband, Fahad Kananeh, who lead the newly launched family-owned franchise. They are joined by her mother, Wannia Saa; father, Fabia Saa; brother, Fabian Saa Jr.; sister, Linda Saa; and brother-in-law, Anthony Prell, all actively involved in the business.

Deeply rooted in the community, the family actively supports local schools and organizations and even coaches a local soccer team, as noted by Paris Baguette.

In addition to offering their wide variety of pastries and café items, they are committed to creating 25 new jobs, many of which will be offered to single mothers and individuals supporting families abroad, officials said.

While the chain is well-known for its breads and pastries, it also serves up salads, sandwiches and seasonal items and offers catering.

Some of the more unique items on the menu include:

  • Cakes like rainbow cake and cheesecake souffle, sold whole or by the slice
  • Turkey Cranberry Brie Croissant (seasonal)
  • Pumpkin King Cream Donut (seasonal)

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. Attendees will receive a free pastry with any purchase and can enjoy free samples and additional festivities.
