Geeks Who Drink Pub Trivia Comes to Morristown

Geeks Who Drink, a Denver-based company that leads pub trivia competitions in more than 300 bars across the country, has just landed in Morristown.

Sona Thirteen announced its Geeks Who Drink pub quiz nights will be a recurring event, scheduled each week on Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m.

The Geeks Who Drink mission harkens the Anglo-Irish tradition of pub quizzes, combining friendly competition and social drinking.

Each quiz contains eight rounds of eight questions, with two rounds that consist of audio-based questions and one round of visual or video-based questions.

While teams are limited to six players, brave trivia-mavens may enter alone.

Thirteen teams to competed in the first trivia night last Wednesday. After a three-way tie for first in the final round, team Quiz on My Face came out on top.

Top-scoring trivia teams are eligible to win thousands of dollars in the annual Geek Bowl championship in January -- so start practicing now.
