Dublin Pub, a beloved Morristown establishment family-owned since 1973, is set to make its comeback later this week.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The historic Dublin Pub will reopen in Morristown later this week, upholding its long-standing tradition of offering classic Irish pub fare and serving as a gathering spot for community members and friends.

To celebrate their return to Morristown, the Irish pub at 4 Pine Street will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at 4 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment by Marty McKernan and Bagpipers, along with a few special surprise guests.

"Come be part of the celebration, soak in the fresh new look, and enjoy the Irish tunes and good craic! We can’t wait to raise a glass with you," the restaurant said in a statement.

Dublin Pub, which first opened in 1973 in a former one-room community cocktail lounge, has been undergoing renovations since last December. The aim was to enhance the historic charm and spirit of the original space while adding a fresh, modern twist.

In addition to the remodel, the pub has also announced a new partnership with another Morristown favorite, Stirling Tavern. According to the update, Stirling Tavern will contribute its "culinary and management expertise" to the pub upon reopening.
