MHS, Ridge Hockey Raise $1K for Cause

Wounded Warrior Project provides aid to returning veterans.

Thank you to Patch reader and Morristown High School Ice Hockey team mother Dawn Klotz for submitting information on a special game played Jan. 28 between MHS and Ridge High School, benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Morristown Ice Hockey team played a game on Saturday, Jan. 28, against Ridge High School at the Bridgewater Sports Arena. All proceeds from the game went to The Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that aids wounded vets upon their return home. Mr. Fenton, a veteran and dad of Ridge player, Robbie Fenton, did the honors of the ceremonial puck drop with MHS captain Jordan Klotz and Ridge captain, Keith Knapp, at center ice. The game raised $1,000 for the cause. MHS won the game 6-1. To donate: www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
