The popular restaurant, which has been in operation for the past 10 years, will close its dining location and transition to catering only.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — After a decade of serving up beloved barbecue, the popular Morristown spot Minuteman is closing its doors to diners and shifting to catering only.

Minuteman Whiskey Bar & BBQ, located at 990 Mt Kemble Avenue in Morristown, has been a fixture in the community for many years. The eatery, which over the years has been regarded as a local favorite, even being voted "Best BBQ In New Jersey" in 2018 by New Jersey Monthly, announced their plans to close this week.

"After 10 wonderful years, the time has come for us to close this chapter of the Minuteman BBQ restaurant," the restaurant said in a message to the community. "To our customers—you have been our community, friends, family, and inspiration. The love and support you’ve shown means everything to us. Every shared meal, laugh, and memory made within these walls has meant the world."
