Pastrami House Deli Celebrates First Morris County Location

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Pastrami House Deli had its grand opening in Morristown recently, bringing its Kosher-style deli sandwiches, sides, and desserts to the town's restaurant scene.
Mayor Tim Dougherty, the Morristown Women in Business Network, and the Morristown Partnership were at the restaurant (82 Speedwell Avenue) for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting last Saturday.
The New Jersey-based eatery took the place of Sandi's Soulbites, a beloved family-style restaurant that closed its doors following months of internal staffing issues after the COVID-19 pandemic. They have been open

Pastrami House offers traditional New York Jewish deli fare. Loaded sandwiches can come with with corned beef, pastrami, turkey, roast beef, cheese, coleslaw, and dressing on rye, white bread, or a sub roll. You can also order potato knishes and latkes.
The eatery also offers an array of soups, salads, and sides — including chicken noodle soup, mac salad, sour pickles and more. Appetizers include fries with pastrami and cheese, Philly cheesesteak spring rolls, mac and cheese wedges, pierogi, and fried pickles.

There are breakfast offerings such as eggs sandwiches, omelettes, and bagels, and also desserts and beverages— including the iconic New York egg cream.
Hours at the Morristown location are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
