Don't forget to go out and vote on Tuesday

The Morristown primary election is Tuesday.

Incumbents Michelle Dupree Harris, council president, Toshiba Foster and Michael Elms are being challenged by fellow Dems Michael Pooler, a planning board member, Jessica Williamson, a member of the environmental commission, and Tom Alexander, a former housing inspector.

Richard Babcock is the Republican write-in candidate for Morristown Mayor and is the only mayoral candidate endorsed by the Morristown Republican Committee. Independent candidates have until primary day to file to make the November ballot.

Babcock believes that now is the time for Morristown to move beyond the politics confrontation, concealment and division.  He is asking for your support so that he can bring Morristown principled leadership that is based on collaboration, transparency, and professionalism.

Recently, Democratic Freeholder candidate Donald Cresitello mailed a flyer to some Morristown voters asking them to write him in as a Republican candidate. To be clear, Mr. Cresitello is neither a Republican nor is he supported by the Morristown Republican Committee.

Don’t be fooled by wannabe Republicans, on Tuesday, June 4, please write-in the ONLY true Republican candidate for Mayor of Morristown
