Morristown Residents Receive Free Smoke Alarms From Town, Red Cross Effort
More than 100 homes reached on Nov. 7.
A handful of Morristown organizations along with volunteers from the Red Cross made sure to help Morristown residents remain safe in their homes by distributing smoke alarms to those who did not have one or properly functioning systems.
On Saturday, Nov. 7, members of the Red Cross, officials from Morristown, Morristown Fire Department, Morristown Office of Emergency Management, Morristown Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and members of the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors went door-to-door and reached more than 100 Morristown homes with fire safety information.
