Chick-fil-A Expands Again: Third Location Opens In Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Chick-fil-A, the iconic chicken chain, has opened its doors to a new location in Morris County.

Chick-fil-A marked the grand opening of its newest location on Thursday at 799 Route 10 in the Hanover Towne Center, Whippany. The restaurant is owned and operated by local resident Drew Blind, according to officials.

This marks the third Chick-fil-A location in Morris County, joining restaurants in Parsippany and Morris Plains.

“My journey with Chick-fil-A has always been about more than just running a restaurant — it’s about creating opportunities, investing in people and making a lasting impact,” Blind said. “With this new restaurant, I look forward to welcoming more guests, developing future leaders and continuing to serve a community that means so much to me.

Blind began his Chick-fil-A career in 2003 as a team member. In 2015, he became the local owner-operator of a Chick-fil-A location in Paramus, and four years later, he opened Chick-fil-A Morris Plains — the first standalone Chick-fil-A in Morris County.

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America, with the funds supporting partner organizations across the greater New Jersey area in the fight against hunger.

The Whippany location is expected to create approximately 100 jobs and will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and delivery services, according to restaurant representatives.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, the franchise will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local nonprofits.

Additionally, the franchise will recognize 100 local heroes making a difference in the Whippany community by awarding them free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year, the company said in a news release.

The restaurant will operate Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the drive-thru remaining open until 10 p.m. Chick-fil-A locations are closed on Sundays.
