Considered one of the top names in the head-coaching market, the Morristown High School alumnus recently gave a shoutout to the Colonials.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Dan Quinn, a Morristown High School alumnus who was previously named one of the top names in the NFL head-coaching market, recently gave a shoutout to the Morristown High School football team.
According to the Morristown High School Touchdown Club, Quinn sent a message to the current roster of the Morristown Colonials, wishing them well on their season and offering them pieces of advice.
"I've been following your season closely, and am impressed by the record you've achieved so far. Every step you take on that field is a testament to your determination. Keep pushing boundaries and believing in yourself. Together, you can achieve anything you set your minds to," Quinn said.

But he ultimately made a name for himself as an assistant during his second stint with the Seahawks. Quinn served as defensive coordinator during the emergence of the team's "Legion of Boom" era, when they won the Super Bowl for the 2013 season.
The Cowboys named Quinn their defensive coordinator in 2021.
Previously, Quinn was named the "hottest name in coaching" among candidates to fill the NFL's head-coaching vacancies, according to Sports Illustrated's Mike Fisher.
The Morristown Colonials have defeated Livingston, Millburn, Chatham and Mendham this season and will face Roxbury during their last home game on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
