No Parole For Morris Co. Man Who Admitted Sex Assault, Drug Charges
The 32-year-old was accused of sexually abusing a child at his Morris County residence, as well as dealing drugs, according to officials.
JEFFERSON, NJ — Morris County officials said a man was sentenced to prison without parole after he pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault and other charges, which stemmed from a narcotics investigation.
Police originally arrested Jefferson Township resident Michael Figueroa, 32, on drug and firearm possession charges last April after searching his home on a warrant. Following his arrest, investigators found material on Figueroa's smartphone depicting the sexual abuse of a child under the age of 13, officials said.
The sexual assaults reportedly happened at Figueroa's home in Jefferson over the course of two years, according to officials. Authorities also said they found additional images of child sexual abuse material on his phone.
