Police Identify Morris Co. Bicyclist Killed In Car Crash
The crash victim died hours after the collision, police said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Authorities have released the identity of the bicyclist who was killed Monday after he was hit by a car.
Juan Rodriguez, 42, of Kenvil, died in the hospital Monday night hours after he was hit by a car in Roxbury Township.
On Monday, around 6:15 p.m., Roxbury police responded to a report that someone riding a bike was hit by a Kia Soul on Route 46 eastbound, east of Berkshire Valley Road.

Police found Rodriguez, conscious, suffering from a head injury, authorities said.
He was taken to the Morristown Medical Center for treatment and died overnight, according to authorities.

Officials added that the driver of the Kia stayed on the scene of the collision and is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed against the driver.
