We don't make resolutions. Phooey.
While the days of declaring "this is my last," "I'm going to do more," "I'm going to fix" are behind us, when the clock strikes midnight marking Jan. 1, we cannot help ourselves but note the "fresh start" and what that means for those pesky promises we have made time and time again. The difference is, when we "break" them, we don't feel as bad as when we "break" resolutions.
We'll share. We want to lose some weight, get into shape, whatever you want to call it. We want to get our finances in order so we don't frantically check our bank balances the day before payday to make sure that $10 of gas we just got does not put the account in the red. And, we want to get prettier. One down, two to go.
