MORRISTOWN, NJ — Polls have just closed in Morristown, and the results are coming in.

The Morristown Council will witness a change in this year's election cycle as Councilman Stefan Armington has decided not to run for re-election to a fourth term in the Third Ward.

Morristown Council President Sandi Mayer was also defeated in the primary election for the nomination to represent the Fourth Ward by her opponent, Christopher Russo.

Additionally, three Morris School District Board of Education seats are up for grabs.

Here are the results. Note that all numbers are unofficial until certified by the Morris County Clerk's Office.

Ward 2:

• Tina Lindsey (D): 274

Ward 3:

• Steven Pylypchuk (D): 448

Ward 4:

• Bruce Meringolo (R): 309
• Christopher Russo (D): 684

Referendum Vote:

• No: 1,120

Board of Education Race:

• Meredith Davidson: 1,120
