MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown drivers will not be able to access certain sections of three town roads on Monday night, according to an announcement from the police department.

The Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority will be performing construction services on Washington Street between Atno Avenue and North Park Place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., officials said.

According to Morristown officials, Martin Luther King Avenue will be closed from 7:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. between Spring Street and Flagler Street.

Lafayette Avenue at Ridgedale Avenue will also be closed from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. for utility work. There will also be no access to Morris Street from Lafayette Avenue tonight.

Detours will be in place on all three roads, and Morristown police officers will assist with traffic flow.
