Shoplifting Suspects Fleeing Police, Crash In Morris Township: Police
The five suspects have all been apprehended by the police, officials said.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — A shoplifting incident and subsequent chase, according to the police, resulted in a crash on Burnham Road in Morris Township.
According to police, there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
The suspects have since been identified as Jade Lindsey, 25, of New York, Catherine Sanoja, 19, of New York and three other juveniles.

The driver of the vehicle, Sanoja, was issued motor vehicle violation summonses, Morris Township police said.
At approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday night, officers responded to the area of East Hanover Avenue for a reported shoplifting that just occurred in Hanover Township. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene and ultimately turned onto Burnham Road in Morris Township.

Shortly after, the vehicle crashed on Burnham Road, damaging a utility pole as well as other property. Three of the five occupants were apprehended immediately after the crash, while the other two fled on foot.
Morris Township Police, along with numerous other agencies, searched the area and eventually apprehended the two fleeing suspects.
At this time, there is no threat to the public, police said.
