Summer STEM Camp Spots Filling Up In Morristown: See The List

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Summer is quickly approaching, and Morristown Recreation is offering a number of programs for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

These summer STEM camps "are designed to spark curiosity, foster innovation, and ignite a passion for learning," the Recreation Department said. The programs cover a range of topics, including robotics and coding, chemistry, physics and outer space, and even a "slime week."

There will also be a mixed-media art camp, and one for crafts and jewelry.

Here are the listed categories and camps:

STEM with Minds in Motion

• Chemical Creations: July 22 - July 26 (For ages 6-10; $160 for residents and $170 for non-residents)
• Outer Space & Physics Fun: August 12 - August 16 (For ages 7-10; $160 for residents and $170 for non-residents)

STEM with Built By Me

• Robotics and Coding with mBot Robot Camp: June 24 - June 28 (For 4th- through 6th-graders, $250 per camper)
• LEGO® Robotics and Coding - Space Quest Camp: July 15 - July 19 (For 2nd- through 4th-graders, $250 per camper)

STEM with Robo Think

• Battle Robots: July 15 - July 19 (For 1st- through 5th-graders; $250 for residents and $260 for non-residents)
• STEM Inventions: July 22 - July 26 (For 1st- through 5th-graders; $250 for residents and $260 for non-residents)

STEM with Fun4All

• Craft & Jewelry Camp: July 8 - July 12 (For ages 8-12; $200 for residents and $210 for non-residents)
• Slime Week Camp: August 5 - August 9 (For ages 6-9; $200 for residents and $210 for non-residents)

Summer Art

• Multi-Media Art Camp: July 29 - August 2 (For kindergartners through 5th-graders; $245 for residents and $255 for non-residents)
