Yo & Papa: The (No) Sign of the Times

It was shortly after , last year, that a familiar drinking and dining destination went dark.

While we vocalized , the South Street Mexican-themed restaurant had maintained a following for several years (and before that, as Calaloo Cafe), with many appreciating its outdoor seating in the warmer months.

And then, it was gone. Mostly. One day, it stopped opening. Months passed with signage wishing patrons a "Happy St. Patrick's Day," while the "Yo & Papa" still sign hung above.

The St. Paddy's Day signs have long since disappeared, as did most of the guts inside the building. Finally, Patch reader Michele Aguila let us know recently that the sign was gone, too. Which compels us to ask a question:
