A Free Concert and an Entrepreneur's Conference

Rutgers Business School is hosting TechSPARC, which will bring together inventors, entrepreneurs and others who can create start-up businesses in the city. TechSPARC (Technology, Students, Partners, Alumni, Resources and Community), will be held Thursday, July 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the school, located at 1 Washington Park, near Broad.

The Sounds of the City concert series continues Thursday with Bernie Worrel Orchestra, who will perform between 5 and 10 pm at NJPAC’s outdoor Theater Square. Admission is free. The concert series is sponsored by the Horizon Foundation. The outdoor concert series is being held Thursday evenings through August.

Time to buy tickets for the benefit basketball game between the Newark Fire Department and the Jersey Express, the Newark-based ABA-league franchise. The game is Saturday at 1 pm in Newark. For more information or to buy a ticket (which are $10 each) click here
