Hey Newark, want to get your hands on farm-fresh produce right in your backyard? Then check out some of the city’s farmer’s markets, including the one sponsored by the Greater Newark Conservancy, 32 Prince St. The conservancy’s Youth Farm Stand will be open today, Wednesday, July 31, from 10 am to 3 pm.
That part of town not convenient for you? Then visit the Commons Farmers Market at Washington Park, at the corner of Washington and Broad streets, from 12 to 7 pm. Regular vendors are Matarazzo Farms and Vacchiano Farms.
