A 300-year-old Newark house, the oldest private residence in the New York metropolitan area, has recently gone on the market, according to real estate site Zillow.
The Syndenham House, built in 1712 and expanded more than a century later, has been listed at 389,000, a reduction of more than $200,000 than when it was last for sale in 2005.
