Joe's Crab Shack Opens Tuesday
Seafood restaurant guests will be eligible to win free crab for a year
Joe’s Crab Shack officially opens its Newark location Tuesday with giveaways and prizes -- including the chance to win free crab for life.
The Southern-style seafood restaurant opens its doors at 11 am at 860 Broad St., near the Courtyard-Newark Downtown Marriott.
The first 100 guests will be eligible to win free crab for a year. All guests on opening day can also enter a contest to get a lifetime supply of free crab.

Guests can also participate in Joe’s fundraiser for No Kid Hungry by purchasing coupons for free kid’s meals, appetizers and entrees in exchange for charitable donations to the organization. For every $1 donation, guests receive a free kid’s meal; with a $5 donation, a free appetizer; and with a $10 donation, a free snow or queen crab bucket.
