Jersey Express, the Newark-based ABA-league professional basketball team, is hosting a reception 5 pm Friday, Sept. 20 to introduce this year’s players. The event will be held at the Essex Sports Cafe, 18 Green St.
Tickets for the game against And1 Sept. 21 will also be on sale during the event. Tickets will be on sale for a special low price of $12 Friday for the game Saturday, which will be held at Shabazz High School, 80 Johnson Ave. Doors open at 4 pm.
