New Community Corp. Celebrates Hispanic Heritage

Music, dance, poetry and song filled the air as New Community Corp. held its Hispanic Heritage Celebration Friday, bringing together residents from all eight of its senior buildings and family residences in Newark, Orange and Jersey City for a fun-filled afternoon. The event, attended by about 200 people and held at New Community Commons Senior in Newark, also featured a variety of foods from the Latino culture.  New Community residents hailing from places like Argentina, El Salvador, Honduras, Peru and Puerto Rico attended the event.
