Preschool Registration is Thursday

The Newark Public Schools Thursday will be hosting a preschool registration day at The Early Childhood School--West, 26 Speedway Ave. (entrance on Gladstone Avenue) from 10 am to 1 pm.

To be registered, children must be three or four years old on or before Oct. 1. Caregivers must also present a birth certificate, immunization record/physical, and proof of residency. Proof of residency includes  any three of the following: telephone/cable bill, utility bill, current driver’s license or other state-issued ID, or a notarized rental agreement.             

There will be free backpacks for the first 30 preschoolers to fully register on the day.
