Lost in New Milford: Dachshund Found Roaming Streets Looking to Go Home

Do you recognize this Dachshund? Found in New Milford on May 1, she's waiting for her family to come and get her at the Bergen County Animal Shelter.

In an attempt to reunite this senior female dachschund with her family, the Bergen County Animal Shelter has turned to Patch for help. The picture is blurry, but the shelter hopes that the dog is recognizable to someone.

The dog was found roaming the streets of New Milford on May 1st and brought to the shelter in Teterboro where it is currently being held. 

If you recognize the dog, please have the owners contact the Bergen County Animal Shelter at (201) 229-4600. The owners will need to bring identification with them before the dog is released.

This dog will be on hold for one week. If the dog is not claimed the shelter will offer it up for adoption.
