New Milford's Memorial Day festivities and parade will be held on Monday, May 28. There will be a Fireman's dedication at Borough Hall at 8 a.m. followed by a dedication at the Jewish War Veteran's memorial at 8:30 a.m. The V.F.W. will hold a memorial service at their post on Madison Ave. beginning at 9 a.m. , owner of , will be the Grand Marshal of the parade.  The Parade will begin at 9:45 a.m. on River Road by the Senior Center and end in front of Borough Hall.  After the parade, ice pops will be given out to all parade-goers at the Recreation Center behind Borough Hall.  On Thursday, May 31 at 7 p.m. the French cemetary will be open to the public as the cub scouts put flags on the four Revolutionary war soldiers and one civil war soldier buried at the cemetary.
