Updated Information As Cape May Co. COVID Vaccine Sites Named
UPDATE: Updated information has been released now that people have begun receiving vaccinations against the COVID-19 virus.
CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — Updated information has been released now that health care workers have begun receiving vaccinations against the COVID-19 virus at Cape Regional Medical Center, the Cape May County Health Department has announced. Sites also have been announced.

The shots are being administered by appointment only to those in the state and federal designation phase 1A, which includes health care workers and first responders.
Eligible individuals can call 609-463-6581 and option 3 to schedule an appointment.

"We are happy to see the beginning of people here getting vaccinated, but we need everyone to understand this will be a long process," said Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton. "The goal for New Jersey is 70% vaccination by the end of June. We want to wish our residents a Merry Christmas and a great holiday season as we all work to Finish Strong.”
Cape May County will be conducting outreach to local governments and the business community early in 2021 to detail the plan for more widespread distribution and administration of the vaccine as it becomes available.
