CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — Cape May County announced plans on Wednesday to open a second vaccination site when the county is provided with more vaccines.
"Vaccinating the public is our first and foremost concern but we need to get the vaccine in order to accomplish that task,” county Commissioner Jeffrey Pierson said in a news release. “We are receiving about 1,000 doses a week and that is not enough. We are advocating every day for more doses.”
The county health department has requested a supply of 30,000 doses, which they have the capacity to store and administer according to the release.
