Charity Soccer Game on Sept. 30 Benefits Betsy Young Fund
Come watch the Nor'easters take on a team of teachers, public safety personnel and other locals.
The Ocean City Nor'easters will play a one-hour soccer game for charity against Ocean City "locals."
Hosted by the Betsy Young Memorial Fund, this event will take place noon to 1:30 p.m Sept. 30 at the Tennessee Avenue fields.Â
The Betsy Young Memorial Fund raised more than $1,000 by having this event last year.
The team will consist of locals, school faculty, firemen and policemen. Free popcorn and games will be available for children.
Spectator admission is only $4 and proceeds fund the Betsy Young Scholarship.
The OC Locals team is still seeking players. Players must be at least 16 years old and sign a liability waiver.
