Newly elected Councilman Michael DeVlieger is inviting constituents to bring photos of potholes and damaged roads to a First Ward meeting 7 p.m. Monday, July 30, at the .
The First Ward includes all Ocean City streets and addresses from the north end of the island (at the Longport-Ocean City toll bridge) to the north side of Fourth Street.
The meeting will be the first of what DeVlieger hopes to be monthly meetings to address "plans for actionable items." DeVlieger will create a master list of roads in need of repair to present to the Department of Public Works.

He asks that residents include the exact location of the road hazards with their photographs, and he invites residents to submit photographs by email:Â mdevlieger@ocnj.us.
The first part of the July 30 will be dedicated to the roads issue — a top priority, according to the voters DeVlieger met this spring — and second part will include an open forum for other ward issues and the determination of a special topic for the next meeting. Â
